Whether you just completed your undergraduate degree or you have been inspired to change careers in your 40s, the College of Charleston's Master of Arts in Teaching program welcomes you! Designed with the adult learner in mind, the College offers varied formats and timelines to fit your needs as you realize your dream to become an early childhood, elementary, or performing arts teacher.

For the performing arts certifications, you'll typically complete the program within 24 months including field experiences, student teaching, and performance opportunities. Coursework includes music or theatre classes and education classes.
