Scholarship
The Melissa Cheyne Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a full-time Furman student who majors in education and seeks licensure in early childhood education.

The John Gordon Holt Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior. The award is based on financial need.

The Lou Gassaway Shirley Burriss Scholarship is awarded to a full-time Furman student who has demonstrated a desire to teach students facing the challenges of learning disabilities or emotional/behavioral disorders.
Scholarship
The Childers Foundation Teaching Excellence Award is awarded annually to an outstanding elementary teacher during the teaching internship in fall of the fifth year. The award amount is $1,500.
