Grants, Stipends, Scholarships
Lander University offers a wide variety of graduate assistantship (GA) opportunities.
Graduate students awarded a GA work approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. In return, GA positions cover half of the regular tuition and required fees (for fall and spring) and provide a stipend of $3,000 per semester.
Students must first be admitted in a Lander University graduate program to be eligible to apply.
Loan Forgiveness
Project CREATE supports a group of qualified students annually who wish to complete the MAT program, providing tuition and books to accepted students. Interested applicants can apply here: https://www.sccreate.org/
Students who live in South Carolina can apply for loan forgiveness through an SC Teacher Loan. Students can be awarded between $2,500 to $15,000 per year. Learn more here https://www.scstudentloan.org/school-loans/sc-teacher-loan-programs-forgiveness
