When I look back at my journey so far with NGU and the Elementary Education program, one word seems to epitomize my experience. That word is "care.” It is evident that each and every education professor cares very deeply about education and the future teachers they are raising up. Because of that, my own care for the students that will be entrusted to me has greatly increased as I learn of areas that are lacking in the school system.

When you pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary or Early Childhood Educational Studies at North Greenville University, a Christ-centered university, you’ll grow in both your calling and your competence—wherever life takes you. Designed to be fully online, this flexible program fits into your full schedule while providing a rich, rigorous academic experience.

Through meaningful coursework that clearly connects theory to real-world practice, you’ll develop a strong foundation in child development, instructional strategies, and classroom management. Practical field experiences ensure you’re not just learning about teaching—you’re actively preparing to do it well. Note: The BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Educational Studies alone does not lead to an initial teacher certificate. Successful completion of the Teaching Certificate Program (either Early Childhood or Elementary) bridges the gap between a teaching degree and a teaching certificate.

SC Endeavors T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship program provides scholarships for teachers, directors, owners, and family/group providers working in childcare to complete coursework in early childhood education. Scholarships are offered to qualifying recipients.
